The first couple of elections here we used those kind of voting machines. They were designed to reduce voter fraud. When you opened the curtain it registered your vote for each lever and returned them all up.

I haven’t seen voting machines like the one shown in years.

I haven’t ever seen a voting machine. We use black pens and paper here.

It is quite easy to fill in a circle beside the candidate you are choosing.That means covering the black pen when you’re finished so it doesn’t dry.

We vote with black ink, but I recall other ways to vote, years ago. Thanks for this song. I reposted it on FB.
